Preserving the history of aviation both worldwide and locally, the Aerospace Museum of California has enlarged its focus to include exhibits on space travel and technology. Much of the museum is filled with antique aircraft and airplane parts, presented in both indoor and outdoor displays. Located just north of Sacramento at the now closed McClellan Air Force Base, the expanded museum also has a number of programs for students.
Open Mon. - Sat. 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sun. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $8; Seniors (60+) and Youth (13-18) $6; Children (6-12) $5; Children 5 and under are free.
